Mother’s Day, glimpse Deep inside the Mother in Your Life, “Honor the Mother Within”

Mother’s day was a big deal for us when we were kids, we would make something special in art class at school.  I would try to find the best present, paint the perfect picture, growing up Mother’s day was moms’ special day.  Yet, dad never did anything for mom, it was us kids.  As years have gone on husbands and boyfriends are now kicking in the thanks to mom.  How exactly do you see Mother’s Day?  Your prospective is very important in how you will honor mom on Mothers day.  

I went around today asking mothers, when I ran into at the grocery store, what they want it is mothers want on their special day.  One Lady said money, I asked her why?  She said she wanted to spend it on something she really wanted and when pressed by me, she said she wanted to have her hair done, as well as her nails, because she can’t afford to do this in her life so that was what she wanted. 

Another lady wanted a machine gun, when asked way?  Her only child was in Iraq and when he comes home she wants to go to a shooting range with her son and do something he loved to do.  Pretty Amazing…

The point is each Mother wants something unique and special for them, not everyone wants a bouquet of flowers, so the secret is what it you mom, wife, or girlfriend really needs or wants on her special day, and she will cherish for years to come.  If someone would ask me what I want I would say, “A handy man” nothing works around here, home improvement time, hang up that front porch lamp I purchased three years ago, and that tree that needs to be trimmed.

If she loves to cook, buy here something great for the kitchen, women are really great at throwing out hints although it seems men really don’t hear them.  So pay attention to her comments as they will be right there if you pay attention.  Honor the mother in her; even if she has no children, maybe she loves her pets, which is a form of mothering.  Buy her cute gifts for her pets, and maybe a cute piece of jewelry that is a charm bracelet with cat or dogs. 

During the Day it’s time with the family, the kids spending time with mom, making her breakfast in bed and opening the kid's gifts for mom, however in the evening it's time for dad to honor mom, go to dinner, make sure it’s romantic and enjoy a meaningful gift, you rewards for paying attention will be well worth it. HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY
