EARTHQUAKE DAMMAGE IN TOKYOJAPAN, AFTER SHOCKS ARE FOLLOWING THIS NEWS ALERT WAS WRITTEN TWO HOURS AFTER THE FIRST REPORT

I have spent numerous months in Tokyo Japan, and I love it there and I love the people. Consequently, when I caught site of the news yesterday I saw that they had an 8.9 earthquake. Now my friends this is a large quake… I was dreadfully troubled since there are in addition others that have been beating up China. In Tokyo it hit the northeastern coast Friday, and a full-size panic for everyone living in Tokyo, where the tsunami let loose it’s fury with a 13-foot tsunami sweeped away cars and ruptured away buildings along the coast near the epicenter. We are still waiting for the total of several injuries in Tokyo…Whenever an earthquake in the ocean centers close it heads outward to create this large tsunami.

The US Geological Survey upgraded the strength of the first quake to a magnitude 8.9, while Japan's meteorological agency measured it at 7.9 ... Alongside the majority of the coast line, TV coverage caught immense damage from the tasunami, dozens of cars, boats and even buildings were carried out to sea. A generously proportioned outsized ship carried way by the tsunami and thenunswervingly smashed into the breakwater in Kesennuna. A Spokes persons in this area in Japan are still trying to assess damage, injuries and deaths from the earthquake, however at this point we had no immediate details and all we need to do right now is pray.

TV coverage has evidence for huge buildings on fire and roaring smoke in the Odaiba district of Tokyo. In addition, central Tokyo trains were stopped and passengers were forced to walked along the rail tracks to platforms to get to safety.

The ceiling in a large hall in Tokyo, buckled and collapsed, injuring an unknown number of people, NHK said. Coverage on NHK from their office confirms employees running awkward around and books and papers crashing from tables all around them. Furthermore it shows much glass sheltering at a bus stop in Tokyo completely smashed by the quake and scared women were running while a woman nearby began helped the woman.

Numerous earthquakes had strike the same region in recent days, including a 7.3 magnitude one on Wednesday. Thirty minutes after an earthquake, tall buildings were still swaying in Tokyo, I personally witnessed this swaying in Los Angeles and it was so scary, and all mobile phone networks were temperaily intruped thus they were not working. Japan's Coast Guard has set up task force and officials are standing by for emergency contingencies as they have to save many lives and help bring this busy city back working in a good pace.
