Gardening – Secrets of Companion Planting with flowers

There subsist various secrets to 'Companion Planting' and this preparation transpired from the beginning of time. The pioneers observed that the American Indians, every time they always planted corn and pumpkin together. The reason these plants so well together is because they are keen on the same growing conditions and together they can flourish better then growing apart, and mainly because their growing rates are also the same. In other many countries hemp was always grown with cabbage, the hemp would be grown around the cabbage field to keep away the white cabbage butterflies.

Every fall, I moved all my house plants; I have a large table in front of my main sunny window, and just group them all together. They love being together, many of my plants will drop a part of their plant into anther plants pot, and now they grow as a family.

Nevertheless companion plants that have very deep roots, which will open the ground for their companion plant to reach areas that they would normally not be able to, reach. That is their relationship consequently they each help the other grow in harmony, like people on Earth should be doing, they would have a hard time breaking through the hard surfaces. Also, deeper rooted plants will bring up minerals to make them available to the plants that grow closer to the surface, now I call this a great marriage.

We will talk about many things I have learned about gardening, I will explain more on why roses love garlic; it keeps all the insects and spiders away from the roses. Also we will talk about why carrots love tomatoes. There are hundreds of reasons why plants grow together, these plants need each other. Keep in mind many trees exhibit toxic substances through their roots to inhibit germination of their own seedling beneath them. However, plant dahlias as they are helpful against certain kinds of nematodes, they a protection to the other flowers growing nearby.

When I think about togetherness, “Indian painting brush, a beautiful flowers and great attractive for hummingbirds’, this plant will not grow without another plant that will grow with it, use blue gramma this will make this marriage perfect.

I can write forever about flowers, however in this hub I would like to talk about healing plants, we spend so much money at the pharmacy, we are capable, of truly do this ourselves in many way, it takes time and practice, except this is a research all of it’s own. Whenever dealing with healing plants, I myself insist the ground be tilled with a good organic soil, I just presently have a dreadful time with the squirrels, they to dig up seeds faster then I can plant them. Hey Huber friends, any ideas for me?

The healing plants are Valerian, Amantilla, Setwell, and Jacob’s ladder. These plants can reach a height of eighteen to twenty-five inches and bears beautiful flowers. However, the value of valerian lies in the roots, which are dug in spring, before the plant has begun its growth. Dry, the pulverize the roots,; store the powder in an airtight container. Valerian tea is useful for many nervous disorders such as cramps, headaches, or stomach gases. The favor is not that pleasant, although I add honey, and this also known as a sleep-inducing and tranquillizing, sedative and extremely calming solution for many conditions.

Now, this awesome to use and an important factor, “garlic” is great to surround your fruit tree bores, as well as, for rose bushes. Remember Aloe Vera, the flower of this natures own medicine has a long stems and very small flowers. To me, the most amazing part of this history is that the Aloe Vera is from the onion family, when you cut down a limb of a tree use the Aloe juice to heal the tree. Extracts of this plant is widely used in the cosmetics industry, and is well know to heal burns. Honestly, I put it on all my sores and it heals them straight away. You can also drink the juice of this plant and is known to heal many stomach ailments.
Another great piece of information is for our folks that suffer from Arthritis, eating all the right vegetables, fruits and nuts can actually alleviate pain. Think of these foods and add to your shopping list; alfalfa, tea brewed from alfalfa seeds, asparagus, celery, cherries, collards, fennel, gooseberries, kale, lemon juice, limes, melons, molasses, mustard greens, oranges, sage, spinach, sunflower seeds, tangerines’, and watercress.
